BES 4.1 Service Pack 4 - Now Shipping

Dear Members,

Service Pack 4 for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 has now begun shipping with all new software orders including Express, SBE and Quick Start Editions. The public release/upgrade version should be available shortly so please stay tuned as I will be posting updates as they become available. I have attached the release notes below for your reference.

I just downloaded and installed BES 4.1 SP3 last week for a customer, can I get the upgrade?

If you still have the "BlackBerry Purchase Information" email that you used to originally download the software that same link will now let you download 4.1.4.

Is this update for Microsoft Exchange only or can I get the update for Domino?

Service Pack 4 is also available for Domino.

I just had our IT guy download and install the update, thank you for the update. We did notice some new IT policy updates expecially the "Wireless Updates" section.

Also to let everyone know that this service pack allows the attachment service to support Office 2007 files.
