Environment
  • BlackBerry® Connect™ Desktop Software 2.1.1.16 through 2.1.1.18
  • BlackBerry Connect software
  • Microsoft® Outlook® 2000
Problem

When starting the BlackBerry Connect Desktop Software, you receive the following error:

Error refreshing settings

Cause

BlackBerry Connect Desktop Software 2.1.1.16 through 2.1.1.18 is not compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2000.

Resolution

Complete one of the following:
Upgrade to BlackBerry Connect Desktop Software 2.1.1.19.
  1. Start your web browser and go to http://businesssoftware.nokia.com.
  2. Click BlackBerry Connect tab.
  3. Choose your Region, Carrier and Phone model.
OR

Upgrade to Microsoft Outlook 2003.
