Cause 3

Contact your service provider to confirm that the Exchange Server is functioning properly.
Cause 6
You are experiencing DNS problems.
Resolution
Ping the Exchange Server by the IP address and common name. Contact your service provider for further assistance.
Note: If you cannot ping the Exchange Server, there may be network problems. If you are only able to ping by the IP address, there are DNS issues that must be resolved, as the BlackBerry Solution requires DNS to function.

The MAPI profile is corrupt.
Resolution
Complete the following:
- Create a new MAPI profile. For instructions, please see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 195718.
- Configure Desktop Manager to use the new MAPI profile. For instructions, please see KB-03650.
