Hi,

You may have accidently installed Desktop manager incorrectly (e.g. Installed desktop redirector) so the first thing to do is remove the software. Then get your I.T staff to see if you device is still active on the BES and have them reactivate the handheld if required. When you install Blackberry Desktop manager ensure you select the BlackBerry Enterprise Server option. Also if anyone else’s Blackberry is every connected to your PC you will need to ensure you select "No" to the switch handheld prompt.

Thanks,

Gary

Can you please try resending the Service Books and I.T Policy from the BES?

Can you please confirm where you installed the Desktop Manager? Also as Desktop manager triggered this issue I would recommend uninstalling it and then reactivate the device.

By uninstalling Desktop manager and reactivating the device again that's not the solution.

from the BES can you send a PIN message to the device?

Did you activate it OTA(wirelessly) or via USB cable?
And does you BES say that the IT Policy was successfully received? & that messages have been forwarded to the device?
