How does the Intellisync tool work with Lotus Notes

Q: How does the Intellisync tool work with Lotus Notes to successfully update the BlackBerry handheld?

A:
  • Personal Address Book: defaults to names.nsf in the Lotus Notes client software's data directory (for example, C:\Lotus\Notes\Data); a different file can be specified in the Address Book connector options.
  • Calendar: server and mail database as defined in the current location document that is specified in Lotus Notes.
  • Email reconciliation: server and mail database as defined in the current location document that is specified in Lotus Notes.
  • MemoPad: defaults to journal.nsf in the Lotus Notes client software's data directory (for example, C:\Lotus\Notes\Data); a different file can be specified in the MemoPad connector options. Note: By default the Journal database is not created when Lotus Notes is installed.
  • Tasks: server and mail database as defined in the current location document that is specified in Lotus Notes.
