Birthday in contacts/address book???

Hi, lotus notes has a birthday in contacts, which populates to the calander however does not come up on the blackberry calendar....the blackberry address book also has no birthday field. The only way around it is to put a separate reoccurring event in the calendar. Or have i missed something?

Hi Greg, I have just discussed this issue with one of the top techs at RIM and he has confirmed that this field isn't mapped and there are currently no plans to support this feature. At this stage you will need to create a separate reoccurring event for Birthdays in order to have them synchronized to your device.
