Problem

The BlackBerry device stops responding and the following error appears:

JVM Error 200

Cause

You receive an IT Policy while the BlackBerry device is locked and the Enter Password screen is displayed.

Resolution

Upgrade to BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 Service Pack 2.

Workaround

Complete the following workarounds until the problem is resolved:
  1. Perform a hard reset on the BlackBerry device.
  2. Delete and reload the data on the BlackBerry device.

Workaround 2

Delete and reload the data on the BlackBerry device.
  1. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open Application Loader and click Next.
  2. Verify the correct applications are selected and clickNext.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Select the option for Erase all application data and Erase all currently installed applications and click Next.
  5. Click Finish. The data on the BlackBerry device is deleted and reloaded.
