8310 MMS not sending

Hi all,

I purchased a BB 8310 the other day. Everything was set up fine on the $79 voice and data plan. Email and everything is working fine, except MMS. I can receive MMS ok, but when I send them no actual picture is sent. The receiving phones get a message from me but says no data is attached.

I have sent myself MMS as a test and where the picture should be displayed an little x witha box is there.

I have called vodafone and they have updated my service book, reset thing and I have tested the sim card on another phone (and MMS send and receive fine). So it looks like some type of BB problem.

Has anyone come across anything similar b4?

Thanks
Hong

Normally these issues are caused by having the incorrect Blackberry/WAP/MMS codes assigned to your service. Unfortunately this is a common problem with Blackberry devices and Telstra even released a firmware update to help resolve this issue. So assuming you aren't connected to a Blackberry Enterprise Server you will need to do more trouble shooting with Vodafone.

Note: BES users need to ensure their I.T Policy is set to "Enable WAP Config: TRUE" and "Allow other Message Services: TRUE".

Thanks for the info. Yes I have made 3 calls to Vodafone and they don't really seem to know what the issue is, they just keep telling me to delete the WAP services and then send it back to me in the hope that it will work again. and yes I am not using blackberry enterprise server
