What 3rd party applications do you have loaded on your Blackberry?

Now that I have found and loaded some, I wondered what other Blackberry users have downloaded and are utilising....

I am using:
1. Simple Checklist (checklist)
2. xTemplate (ready made email and text templates to be used again and again)
3. HabitMaster (creating habits)
4. Quote of the Day (self explanatory)
5. Black & Whitelist 1.32 (block certain / nuisance calls)
6. FinanceBB (financial calculator)
7. GridMagic (free excel like program)
8. Berricons (smileys)
9. MagicMail (prepare email templates to be used again and again)

All of these were accessed from handango.com

Bloody hell, thanks for the handango link, never knew there were soooo many apps out there. BB smorgasbord. I think I'm gonna be spending some money.

I use the following applications at the moment:

1. iSkoot - Skype for BlackBerry
2. WorldMate Live - World Time, Currency converter and flight scheduling
3. Repligo (linked to server version) – Opens documents in full desktop format and allows me to access network drives at the office (and much more).

Gary, just went to the iSkoot web site to check this prod out - sounds great.

However can you possibly explain charges likely to be incurred using iSkoot?

FWIW I use Skype a fair bit (including Skypeout) on my laptop to family and friends in USA and Europe, so have some understanding of the product.

TIA.

Well, I review applications for a Berry site so this list changes daily.
Todays List:
Viigo (Beta test version)
trackIT: Vehicle Edition
Biz TrackIT
Service Log (Time management app)
Time Tracker (ditto)
BBBattery Watch
BBTrips (BB tracking device)
MiuTunes (Beta Music player)
Nav4All (GPS favorite)
Empower Mail Viewer

And about 5 or 6 Themes.
I've got a list and codes for about another 30 applications which I am still waiting to load ( as well as about 25 games)
Busy...

I use iSkoot on BES so I get unlimited data via the server so I can't confirm how it works on BIS. I have to say it does have an annoying echo issue which is due to the slow data speed.

Question for all the smart knowledgable users out there..... I think I want to purchase the BBSmart Email Viewer.... so to see the "real" email.... and I note you need a data plan for internet....

I downloaded the free 4 day trial, and had to select in connection options an internet source.... choices were BES/MDS (not me as private), BIS (this is mine), TCP/IP (???), and WAP (I am assuming Telstra as that is who my plan is with?).

Now, by selecting BIS, does it use the Blackberry internet server, or would it use Telstra's?

Under my Browser configuration, Default Browser is Internet Browser, Default MDS browser is Internet Browser, and Default WAP browser is Telstra Business Portal. On my home screen (Blackberry Curve 8300) I have both Telstra Business Portal (which I do not use) and a Browser one (which I believe is the Blackberry Server).

Any thoughts / advice / guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You'd want to use 'BIS' here as you won't get charged extra using it.

In other words, everything that goes via BIS is included in your standard Blackberry plan.

Hey Tfer (or others), I've got a dumb question for you, so go easy on me.

Do you download these apps from Handango directly to your 8310 or via laptop/desktop?

Just read the BB Smart Email Viewer review - looks excellent.

Cheers.
