Downloading Large Emails

I am getting a 8310 on vodafone plan in a few weeks time as I need to use it for work purposes especially for email as I am out of the office on remote sites alot.

Since the blackberry in only on 2G is there a way of not downloading attachments or large attachments in emails? I get alot of non work related emails from friends with large attachments eg 8-10MB sometimes so dont want to spend hours waiting for them to download.

In pull emails I assume just the headers been downloaded and attachments downloaded individually? Can the same be done with push?

When you receive an email with attachment on a BlackBerry you just get a header for the attachment file and file type. It's up to you if you want to download/view it or not.

Since my work server will have a copy of the email and large attachement, can I then forward the email with the attachment from my blackberry and the work server will send the whole attachment to the people I am forwarding to?

For the people that use it for work do you find it frustrating downloading large email attachments since its only 2G?

Actually to be honest, I think the sheer flexibility and ease of access, virtually anywhere anytime, far outweighs any lack of speed... although having said that, I have zero complaints
