its been a tolerable problem, except for very recently. this past week i have been missing countless sms messages etc, because everytime there is activity on my phone everything gets deleted. (ie) ill make a phone call and then the messages, call log etc erases again. its becoming quite problematic.
can anyone help?
thanks,

Hi,
This issue would be caused by Low Memory Manager clearing items to free space as the device is low on memory. The first thing you should do is go to "Options > Advanced Options > Applications" and delete any unwanted application, games or language packs (e.g. you phone may have Chinese & Japanese input support installed).
What is the Low Memory Manager
The Low Memory Manager (LMM) is activated automatically when the available flash memory on the BlackBerry smartphone decreases to less than 400KB. Flash memory is used to store BlackBerry smartphone applications such as Messages, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, MemoPad, and third-party applications.
By removing rarely used applications and old data, BlackBerry smartphone users can increase the amount of memory on their BlackBerry smartphone. The LMM begins by removing low priority items such as cached data. Medium priority items such as very old email messages and out-of-date calendar entries are deleted if additional memory capacity is required. If the memory situation on the BlackBerry smartphone becomes critical, the LMM will cause the email application to remove email messages on a last-accessed basis.
To view the available memory on the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options > Status > File Free
Note: Calendar entries and email messages removed by the LMM are not reconciled back to the mail system.
Thanks,
Gary
