Cool Synchronising Blackberry Bold with Mac OS

I have just purchased a BOLD my first blackberry even though i am an ardent mac user! However the synchronisation is a prob. I am using Pocketmac SyncManager and it does not seem to want to add any emails i send from my blackberry to my mac mail.

Also it seems unable to see my media card and cannot upload my music from iTunes or pics from iPhotos.

I can live without iTunes and iPhotos but need my emails sent from the blackberry loaded up to mail package.

I have tried to switch to Missing Sync for Wondows but this fails completely. If switching do i need to disable Pocketmac SyncManager?

Any thoughts suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

David

Hi David,
Have you got the latest release of PocketMac (4.1.25) https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22
Just to clear up the Missing Sync question, you will have to completely remove PocketMac from your Mac for it to work correctly (will cause conflict issues otherwise)
Hope this helps,

Hi Greg

Thanks for that. I had only downloaded my version 3 weeks ago so figured it was up to date - but I checked and my version had a weird number "Version 1.2 (1.4) " So figured i better re download. This i did from Blackberry site as you recommend. It is the same as what i had before. The first time it ran was ok except still did not synchronise emails i had sent from my Blackberyy into my Mac mail package. It also failed to recognise my media card.

The one thing it did differently was that it did not generate an error list at the end.

However this morning i synchronised and all the same as last night except this time an error as listed below:

"09:34:00.242] An unexpected error has occurred: Bad device record set. Check that the OID values are unique across records.
An unexpected error has occurred: Bad device record set. Check that the OID values are unique across records."

So I am not sure what OID values are??

I think I will try to delete Pocket mac and try using missing sync for windows.

If you have any bright ideas give me another yell

Thanks for your suggestion

David
