Deleting Photos From Memory Card

Hi,

I've got lazy and have amassed a stack of photos on my memory card. Some are keepers (which I use for call id and email ID profiles ) but most can be binned. Question is: is there any easy and fast way of deleting these photos or do I have to select one at a time?

Hi,

If you connect your device to your PC you should be prompted to "Turn On Mass Storage Mode" (assuming you haven't disabled this option) to which you select "Yes". Once this is enabled you will have a new drive appear in My Computer which will have all your data in a BlackBerry Folder (e.g. Pictures, Music etc). If you have accidentally stored the data on the internal memory you can use Media Manager within BlackBerry Desktop Manager to move or delete files.

OK, but if I delete the complete 'picture' folder (that contains 800 odd pics) in drive E (BB mass storage drive) can I simply add a 'new folder' (empty) to replace the one I just deleted?

Just looking for an easier way than manually going through each pic (via desktop whilst BB connected as mass storage device) and deleting.

Does this make sense.

You can delete the pictures folder if you wish but it would be just as easy to open the folder and press Ctrl + A and then press Delete.

Go to Settings ; Media Card ; Press the Blackberry button to the left of the scroll ball ; Select Format Card ; Click "Yes" ; DONE !! (Takes less than 30 secs)

This method will also delete all other data on the MicroSD card.
