difference between "browser" and "internet browser" icons?

I'm perplexed.
The guy I spoke to on Optus Blackberry customer support said that I should only use "browser" (which ensures BB internet) and NOT "internet browser" - but when I click on either icon, they both say "blackberry" (blue font, white background) as they are loading up... so I'm assuming they are both kind of the same -- and hence, both OK to use (so an not to incurr any extra chargs for data and ensure I am using my unlimited BB internet, etc)??
Would this be correct?

(Though, here MUST be a difference if there are two icons with slightly different names... no?)

Hi Marrisa,
Under either of the browsers you are referring to, you have the option to set them up a number of different ways.
Click on the browser (or Internet Browser) icon and press the 'Application' key (LHS of trackball)>click on 'Browser Configuration'. If you scroll right to the top of the page (default is second line down) it will highlight in blue the service that that particular browser is using . (there are a couple of options here, 'Internet Browser' will use your 'Unlimited MDS' as we outlined in the other reply, Optus Zoo is WAP and Hotspot Browser is Wifi.)
If you set one of the browsers to 'Internet Browser' and the other to Hotspot Browser then connect to, say your work or home Wifi network, you will have the best of both worlds. (You will find, with Optus anyway, that using the Hotspot setting and connecting to a WiFi network, the browser will be a LOT faster.)
Hope that clears it up for you... Sorry to ramble...

Thanks!
So is this correct? (was a little different bto the path you suggested but I think this is what you meant):

In Advanced Options I clicked into "browser" and did the following:
Default Browser configuration: Hotspot Browser
Default MDS browser configuration: Internet Browser
Default WAP browser configuration: Optus Zoo

So will this ensure that if I can get into a WiFi connection (ie when I am at home, etc) it will automatically connect wifi (which does appear to be quicker, by the way!) and if no wireless network to connect to, it'll just use Blackberry internet service (so I wont be charged as its using my unlimited data plan)??

Thanks so much in advace, yet again!!!

That's it. You've got it. And as Thomas posted previously, if you hide the WAP browser then there wont be any chance of yourself (or someone you lend the phone to) racking up a huge excess data bill.
