3rd party apps.

Hi guys,

Can anybody post step by step guide how to install a "3rd party application"??

Application has been developed by our developers, I want something about

how to deploy that application on around 100 BB devices??
What ffiles ormat does BB support??
What is MDS and how it works??

Hi,

If an application has been developed for Blackberry you want to files in the form an alx\cod to push them from the BES. Please refer to the document attached for a detailed guide on deploying application from the BES. “The BlackBerry MDS Connection Service enables users to access web content, the Internet, or your organization's intranet, and also enables applications on BlackBerry devices to connect to your organization's application or content servers for application data and updates.” Please refer to the BlackBerry Data process flows for more information: Mobile data process flows

Your developer needs to create the application specifically for Blackberry and the compiled application can be exported to either alx\cod (Desktop installer or BES wireless push) or jad/cod (installed via device browser). For more information please refer to the official Blackberry developer’s website below:
