Hi again,
Does anyone know if a 8707g will operate on the 3 Network Australia? It is just that I have 2 phones (Three and Vodafone) and cannot always carry both with me but can take the 2 sims with me and alternate. I do this with 2 other phones at the moment. Cheers

The Three network doesn't currently support the BlackBerry network, they promote their own Mobile Email service as an alternative. Currently to operate a BlackBerry you will have to use Telstra, Optus or Vodafone.

I was thinking in terms of use without the push email feature. Just as a normal phone whilst using Three.

I personally haven't tried using a BlackBerry 8700 on Three as a phone only device, but there is no reason why it shouldn't work. To use a BlackBerry as a Phone only you need to do the following:

On the 8707 you can go to "OPTIONS > Network" and change "Data Services" to "Off" which will allow phone only use.
