DataViz Introduces Documents To Go for BlackBerry
8th May 2007

DataViz, Inc., a provider of mobile office compatibility and productivity solutions, has unveiled Documents To Go for BlackBerry the latest in its line of mobile Office editing solutions. The solution is expected to hit the shelves later this year and will allow users of Blackberry to access, view, edit and create Native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on their devices.

Powered by its innovate InTact Technology, Documents To Go will ensure that complex file formatting is maintained when receiving, editing and sending files to and from a BlackBerry smartphone.

"The BlackBerry solution attracts a broad range of mobile customers who can benefit from the ability to work with native Microsoft Office files," said Jeff McDowell, Vice President, Global Alliances at Research In Motion in a statement. "Documents To Go from DataViz will provide another degree of mobile flexibility and productivity to BlackBerry customers and we are very pleased that this software is becoming available to our growing customer base."

In 1999 DataViz unveiled Documents To Go for Palm OS and subsequently for Symbian UIQ, Series 80 and Windows Mobile Smartphone.

This is a real positive!
I've been using DocsToGo on my palm for years and it is great.
The only weakness I can see with the BlackBerry has been the non ability to view and edit attachments, and this development will fix this.
