Post Internet browsing via WIFI

I have a new BB 8120 and am new to BB's. I have finally connected the phone to the wireless network in office . However now I am trying to browse the internet which I believe I should be able to do using the standard browser (ie Not optuszoo). HOwever I get the following error message: Unable to open a PDP Context to the followinf APN: blackberry.wap.

What can I do?
I am with Optus (mobile plan only) and the interent is also with Optus - however I should still be able to browse the internet through the network shouldn't I?

thanks

Use direct web browsing

Doc ID : KB14801
Last Modified : 2007-12-13
Document Type : Support

Environment
  • BlackBerry® smartphone
Procedure

To configure direct web browsing on a Wi-Fi® enabled BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:

1. Connect to a personal Wi-Fi network or a hotspot. See KB13365 for more information on scanning for available Wi-Fi networks or KB13363 for more information on manually adding Wi-Fi networks.

Note: In the VPN Selection page of the Set Up Wi-Fi Wizard, click No. A virtual private network (VPN) connection will prevent direct web browsing.

2. Once connected to the personal Wi-Fi network or hotspot, open the BlackBerry Browser.

3. In the Browser menu, click Go To.

4. In the Go To menu, click Change Browser.

5. Click Wi-Fi Browser.

6. In the Go To field, type the web page address.

7. Click the trackball to view the web page using direct web browsing.[/list]

Great info but my Bold 9000 does not give the same options as listed... Any chance of an updated screenshot version? Also should the web browser indicate WIFI at the top when browsing?
Thanks
Z

for the bold you want to ensure its on hotspot browser and also you will know if you are connected via the wifi by looking at your home screen. For example mine says

vodafone AU - wlan (which is the name of my home adsl 2 wifi)
