8100 End Of Life on Telstra

Just a heads up, that we got notice last week that Telstra have made the 8100 end of life & thus no longer available. (although it's still listed on their website :-)

Just in case someone was about to order any.

Hi,

Telstra replaced the 8100 with the 8110 (same as the 8300 was replaced by the 8310) but they are being supplied by Telstra Business or Corporate Dealers (e.g. Mobile Network - Blackberry 8110).

Oh I was just letting people know if they want one, get in quick. Unfortunately Telstra haven't release OS4.5 for 8110 (which they did for the 8100), so I consider the 8100 as a superior product as it has documents to go & a better email, calendar features.

There are quite a few 4.5+ beta's around on the net for the 8100 if you wish to go down that path.
