desktop manager and 8100

I have an 8100 but when I attach it to my computer the Desktop Manager doesn't see it. Thoughts?

First thinga to check and reply on are:

• What version of the Desktop Manager have you installed (bottom left hand corner of the Desktop Manager
• What operating system are you running in your handset (Options>About)
• Whether you are on BIS or BES

If the phone is up to date in its OS, the DM may be too old... and you could check for an update (bottom right corner of the DM) and upgrade, or you can get it from your carrier's site

Also, under Options in the DM, drop down Connection Options to see that USB connection is active
