Pairing Bluetooth keyboard with Pearl

I have a Dell (actually a Think Outside Stowaway with Dell logo) Bluetooth keyboard. It is a very good keyboard which I use to type long documents on my Axim PDA and I've also used it with my Apple Mini.

I have tried pairing it with the Pearl. It gets to the point where it asks for the number and the only two I know are 1234 and 0000. Neither works.

Any suggestions?

Sorry about that ... I tried a spelling correction in the title.

The Pearl most likely isn't compatible with your Bluetooth keyboard. Even if you able to make it pair you would need software installed for the keyboard that would allow a feature called "Event Injection".

I personally use a Freedom universal keyboard which works perfect with the pearl. See below for more info:

Thanks for that. I find the Smart Type system is great for short messages but a proper keyboard would be helpful for those times when you don't want to break out the laptop.

Thank you and Welcome Chris. I have just started using my Freedom keyboard and it's worth it's weight in gold.

I think so too but it's nice to hear an independent opinion. Thank you for the feedback
