Hello - My Outlook calendar is connected to my work VPN. My emails always sync, however my appts in my outlook calendar are not syncing. Appts I book in Outlook from PC do no make it to my BB, and vice-versa. I tried reading through some of the other questions, but I couldn't figure it out.
Can you please let us know if this account is connected to a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES)? If you are on BES and you go to Calendar > Press menu > Select Options (and then > Desktop on new devices) do you have a “Wireless Synchronization option present?
Gary - I assume it's on the BES network, not sure how to check. The email address does NOT have the wireless synchronization option. Under calendar properties it says wireless synchronization: NO. There is no option to change the NO to YES.
My old Blackberry 8130 DID have this option. My new replacement phone does not.

The first thing to do is contact your I.T support and confirm if you are connected to a BES. If you are on BES they will need to check the server to see why calendar sync has been disabled.
ah, ok so no i am not connected to BES, just BIS. the weird thing is everything used to sync wirelessly?

If your device was previously syncing wirelessly to your work account you must have been on BES. It may be possible that your company is no longer using the BES service?
Help! I downloaded the new 4.7 to my blackberry. Now my outlook calendar won't sync. Its configured correctly butwhen I do a sync the program skips the calendar completely and just syncs the tasks, addresses and notes. I'm ready to pull my hair out! Wish I'd never updated! I've had numerous probs. I think this is the last one. If anyone can gelp I'd appreciate it. I need to get on with my life!

If the Calendar has stopped the first thing you should do is take a backup on the device. This is done via "Desktop Manager > Backup and Restore > Backup" and then select a location to save the file. Once a device backup is taken from Desktop Manager still with "Backup and Restore" Select the "Advanced" menu. Form Advanced a window will appear showing all your device data (and backup if selected), just select "Calendar" and "Calendar - All" in the right windows and press clear at the bottom on the window. Now that your device calendar has been cleared synchronize the device and you should be prompted to place all the calendar data back onto the handheld.

My calendar used to sync, and my notes, tasks, address book etc, still do. I have checked all the options, and they are set correctly.
Trouble is, I have calendar changes both on Outlook and on my Blackberry, so doing a backup and then clearing the memory is far from ideal. Is that the only way? Why should the calendar stop syncing?

When you try and sync is Desktop Manager displaying any errors? Also have you install Facebook onto your device?
