Media application does not display files on the media card

Environment

• BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100 smartphone

Problem

When selecting the media card under any of the media options, you do not see the media files on the media card.

Cause

Media files located in incorrect folders on the media card cause this issue.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:

1. Move any songs on the media card to the /Blackberry/Music/ folder.
2. Move any videos on the media card to the /Blackberry/Videos/ folder.
3. Move any ring tones on the media card to the /Blackberry/Ring Tones/ folder.
4. Move any pictures on the media card to the /Blackberry/Pictures/ folder.
