Desktop Installation Error

Help!
My Blackberry's Desktop Software was working fine up until a couple of days ago. Then it started to close after doing a sync.
After having no luck in updating the service pack one or two I uninstalled all programs planning to re-install the Desktop Software.
But this is where i have run into a problem. When I use the disk that came with the phone the installation always gets to the same point when I get a splash screen pop up that says

"The wizard was interrupted before the Blackberry Desktop Software could be completely installed.
Your system has not been modified. To completer installation at anther time, please run the setup again.

Click Finish to exit the wizard."


Well I have tried a couple of times now but no luck, anyone have a suggestion.

I'll answer my own question!
I went to BlackBerry and found the answer.
It was due to not cleaning out a previous uninstall. the paper was titles "How to perform a clean uninstall of Blackberry Desktop Software"
Once all of the files were removed i was able to do a fresh install.
