Issues sending email messages

If a red X is displayed when you try to send email messages, the email account is not sending email messages successfully. Here are a couple of things you can try to fix the problem:

Check to see if there have been any changes made to the email account

If you have changed a password or a login name, you will have to update the email account settings in BlackBerry® Unite!™ software.

Check to see if the email application on your computer can send email messages

If the email application on your computer can send email messages, compare the email account settings in the email application with the email account settings in BlackBerry Unite! software. You may have to correct the settings in the BlackBerry Unite! software.

"Desktop email program was unable to submit message"

Hello

I can't send e-mails with Blackberry Unite. Receiving works flawlessly. When sending I get the error

"Desktop email program was unable to submit message"

I have removed the BlackBerry (delete Handheld) completely and reinstalled Unite (download from BlackBerry.com), but it still does not work. I've searched the whole Internet, but the problems described
focused increasingly on the BES, not the Unite. I have Windows XP Professional, no Active Directory, no Exchange.

On the BlackBerry in the LogFile I get (along with others) the following messages:

Name: net.rim.blackberryemail
Severity: Warning
GUID: eed3aaa81f4f29f9
Time: Jan 18, 2009 13:09:17
RE-0x22 1657626873

Name: net.rim.scan
Severity: Warning
GUID: 60714307f914d8d5
Time: Jan 18, 2009 13:09:02
CRAf

I can't find a description of these messages nowhere.

In BB Unite Logfile MDS-CS is among others the following:
