download iron man 3 : Iron Man 3 enters theaters May 3 The last time we saw Tony Stark, he was chilling with his homies eating some well-deserved shawarma after slamming the door on some parallel-universe baddies. One year later, Marvel is poised to enter Phase II of its once scoffed-about plan to rewrite the rules of the superhero franchise, and it’s only right that Iron Man leads the way when Iron Man 3 premieres tonight in Los Angeles. Captain America might be the First Avenger, but it was Iron Man who got the ball rolling at the box office in 2008 and remains the expanded universe’s biggest attraction. The Hollywood premiere of “Iron Man 3″ has arrived and it’s time for the stars to walk the red carpet. Being the first Marvel movie to follow “The Avengers,” expectations are high for the latest installment in the “Iron Man” franchise.

Hi there,

I have blackberry torch 9800 and did contacts backup before wiping the device using Blackberry desktop manager.

I activate BES on the torch 9800, restore contacts from the backup using Blackberry Desktop Manager. When i restore the contacts, i have to uncheck "contacts - wireless reconcilitian" if not contacts will grey out and cant restore.

Anyway, contacts has been restored successfully and i can see all contacts in the phone.

But i notice that when i go to contacts > options > under contact lists i saw 2 "Desktop" (see attached).
when i click one of the desktop (picture 1), it shows the contacts that i restore from backup
and the other is from BES (picture 2)

Is there any way i can combine/move contacts from backup to BES contacts?

Thank you

Cheers,

Hi,

I'm trying to test installing apps to iOS devices via BES10.1 and not having much luck.

Setup Application definition and software configuration, and assigned this to a user on iPad. In the BES10 client under Work Apps, All shows as (1) but when I tap this nothing happens and it goes to (0).
I was hoping that some one (most probably Gary) would have steps to just test 1 simple app.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gary,

Infra Structure Exchange 2010 coexistance with exchange 2010

Domain 2k03 and Domain 2k10 part of the same Forest.
Domain 2k03 = Exchange 2003, Domain 2k10 = Exchange 2010.
2 x Bes 5.02 (Local sql express) stand alone, services Domain 2k03 exchange users.

All incoming and outgoing mail goes through Domain 2k10 Exchange 2010.
Domain 2k10 has 3 users migrated from Domain 2k03.
1 x Besx 5.04 (local sql express) Stand alone on Domain 2k10 created new Besadmin2010 account - from RIM's KB/video tutorial and the help from Posts posted in this forum.
Have sucessfully activated on Bes 5.04 the 1 x BB users migrated from Domain 2k03/exchange 2k03 to Domain 2k10/exchange 2k10 and BB worked fine when created and activated from BESX 5.04

However The following problems

1. can't add users from domain 2k03/exchange 2k03 to Besx 5.04 on Domain 2k10.
The Bas when create new user or search does not show / can't find them

2. Bes 5.02 on domain 2k03 can add user migrated to domain 2k10 / exchange 2k10 but fails on activation. I expect this as besadmin2k03 probably doesn't have permission to besadmin2k10.

3. With a work station on the network, logged in as Besadmin2k10 and can open domain 2k03/exchange 2k03 user mailbox that has not been migrated to exchange 2010.

Don't know if this is possible but we plan to migrate some User AD accounts only from domain 2k03 to domain 2k10, leaving the mailbox accounts for now on existing domain 2k03/exchange 2k03 eventually will move/migrate to exchange 2010, aware wipe and reactivation of BB REQUIRED?

***Besx 5.04 on domain 2k10 is pointing to exchange 2k10 Mail server.
Eventually all users will move to domain 2k10/exchange 2k10.

Pls help / advise.

Many Thanks in advance

Regards

I would like to confirm the process for moving the SRP ID & Authentication Key from an old BES server to a new one.

I'm nearing the end of a project to migrate BES 4.1.7 to BES 5.0.3, and I'm at the stage of moving the permanent SRP ID & Authentication Key from the BES 4 server to the BES 5 server. The BES 5 server is currently using a 90-day SRP ID & Authentication Key. All BlackBerry users have been migrated to the BES 5 server

According to BlackBerry Knowledge Base Article KB04744, I have to follow the process set out below. The article states that the BES should be not restarted for at least 4 hours after the SRP ID & Authentication Key have been changed.

1. Get the SRP ID & Authentication Key from the BES 4 config database
2. Logon to the BES 5 server and start the BlackBerry Administration Service
3. Expand Server & Components > BlackBerry Solution Topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component View > BlackBerry Enterprise Server
4. Click on the name of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
5. Click Edit instance
6. Remove the temporary SRP ID and Authentication Key
7. Enter the permanent SRP ID and Authentication Key
8. Click Save All

Is this information correct? Do I have to remove the SRP ID & Authentication Key from the BES 4 config database?

Hello Gary,

Have you had much success with 10.1 do you have refined install guide?
I have a new Win2008 R2 Sp1 server BES10.1 installed ok and I included UDS/Management Studio on install.

Admin console BDS fails to load. "Page cannot be displayed" and im wondering if its a port conflict of some sort. BES10 - Blackberry Web Services is set to Manual startup type and Stops right away after being started. Is this service even used for BDS console. Lastly do the firewall ports have to be open before the BDS console will even open locally? Is there a blackberry tool I can use to test these.

Hello,

I have inherited a server from a previous IT person. The site uses BES Express and the view will be to install Bes10 so that they can attach to Z10's.
The current Bes server needs to be cleaned up. There are about 10 accounts that cannot be deleted. Error "The request could not be completed".

I have tried numerous things online to try and solve this and nothing has worked. I have restated services, ran SQL quiries and more.
I can't sign up for BB support as the SRP and Auth key have already been used to create a support account we are still trying to work out the details of this account so we can logon.

I suspect that the BAS log file contains the answer and I suspect that the users account needs to be removed at the SQL server but I need more advice.

I also suspect that this is the clue
(06/11 14:07:57:562):{http-servername.server.LOCAL%2F10.12.81.1-663-1} [org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter] [ERROR] The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_BASReconciliationEventProcessingJobIdsToCloseE ventDeliveryJobId_BASJobs". The conflict occurred in database "BESMgmt", table "dbo.BASReconciliationEventProcessingJobIdsToClose ", column 'EventDeliveryJobId'.

Can anyone give me any pointers?

I have tried searching for the users account, select under advanced seach for all accounts pending deleteion, it is not listed. Someone also suggested advanced server, mutiple user select. select the account. This made no difference.
I have tried disabling the account (same error) and tried deleting the account and deleting along with all BB information.

We have added other users to this server without any issues.

Anypointers would be appreciated.

*ATTN: Corporate Firewall Management Team/BlackBerry Enterprise Server Administrator*

In order to ensure your BlackBerry® Enterprise Server...

ATTN: Corporate Firewall Management Team/BlackBerry Enterprise Server Administrator

In order to ensure your BlackBerry® Enterprise Server settings remain compatible with planned BlackBerry® Infrastructure enhancements, your corporate network firewall settings and your BlackBerry Enterprise Server software configuration settings will need to be verified and, if necessary, updated by your BlackBerry Enterprise Server Administrator between now and June 8, 2013.

You must review, and if necessary, update your BlackBerry Enterprise Server settings between now and June 8, 2013 if one or more of the following applies to your BlackBerry Enterprise Server:

· Physically located in a country within the Asia Pacific region (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, but excluding People’s Republic of China).
· Connected to any of the Server Routing Protocol (SRP) addresses associated with countries located in the Asia Pacific region (see inclusions/exceptions above), or the legacy Asia Pacific region SRP addresses of srp.ap.blackberry.com or srp.ap.blackberry.net (see Knowledge Base articles below)

Please note that after July 13, 2013 we will be decommissioning the old IP address of 206.51.26.124 so changes must be made in order to ensure you maintain BlackBerry Enterprise Server connectivity.

If you are unsure if you meet the criteria above, please review your settings and update if required.

If your BlackBerry Enterprise Server still connects to srp.ap.blackberry.com or srp.ap.blackberry.net you will need to verify your settings to ensure you connect to xx.srp.blackberry.com, where “xx” is replaced with your specific country code. For example, if your BlackBerry Enterprise Server is physically located in Hong Kong, then you would replace “xx” with “hk”. For a complete listing of country codes, please refer to the Knowledge Base article KB04359.

If you already connect to the correct country specific SRP address, you will not need to edit your BlackBerry Enterprise Server settings; you will only need to ensure that the proper IP addresses are allowed through your corporate network firewall.

NOTE: This change does not affect you if you are using the recommended configuration allowing the full IP ranges instead of individual IP addresses as outlined in KB03735: Firewall and connection requirements for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BlackBerry Device Service, and Universal Device Service.

If any of the above criteria apply to you then you must make the necessary changes between now and June 8, 2013 to ensure you maintain your BlackBerry Enterprise Server connectivity.
Please see the knowledge base articles below and the attached Frequently Asked Questions document for more details.

When reviewing your configuration settings, please ensure that:
1. In accordance with the knowledge base article the IP addresses 206.51.26.124, 216.9.240.6, and 68.171.240.33 are allowed through your corporate network firewall.
2. Your BlackBerry Enterprise Servers are configured to use the appropriate country specific Server Routing Protocol (SRP) address xx.srp.blackberry.com instead of a static IP address.
3. Port 3101 is open on your firewall as specified in the knowledge base articles.
4. TCP Port 443 is open for outbound initiated, bi-directional traffic to establish a connection to the BlackBerry Infrastructure for BlackBerry smartphone and tablet connections over Wi-Fi.
