Multiple Exchange Accounts on one phone

Our current parent company which has a BES 4.1.6/Exchange 2003 environment just took over another company that also has a BES 4.1Pro/Exchange 2003 environment.

We have an employee from our parent company who has a bb phone with his mailbox on it using BES who is going to run the new company that we just took over.

He is getting a username and mailbox for that company also. He would like to have both mailboxes connected to his phone. Is that possible? Both companies do wireless activations, not the desktop manager. Our domains aren't trusted and probably will remain separate if that makes a difference.

thanks,
Stephen

Hi,

You will only be able to use one BES account on the users Blackberry device. To allow access to two email accounts on one device you will also have to setup a BIS account for the user and forward emails from the second account to the handset.

Thanks,

Gary

Just remember that they will not be able to synchronize contacts, calendar, tasks, etc. with the first (now BIS) account.

However, once they activate on your server, their contacts, calendar items will propagate to your server, so that's something...
