Duplicate Calendar Entries on Pearl but Not on E-mail Client

On last Thursday IT commenced attempting to upgrade BES to v4.5 (or 4.6 which one I'm not quite sure). They have only just today succeeding in this install.

Anyway on Friday my BlackBerry commenced an Enterprise Activation on its own accord, which IT was very surprised about. The outcome of the activation was that all my calendar entries on my Pearl from 1/9/08 have been duplicated. My e-mail client (Lotus Notes) does not have the duplicated entries.

Today we attempted to fix the duplications by doing an Enterprise Activation, however this had the reverse effect and now all entries from 4/8/08 are now duplicated on my Pearl. Again Lotus Notes is OK.

In the past to fix discrepancies between my Task List and Lotus Notes To Do List we have done this Enterprise Activation and it has worked perfectly.

Question, is there a way of deleting all the desktop calendar entries on the Pearl, with out deleting them on Lotus Notes, so we can try again an Enterprise Activation so as my Pearl calendar will mirror my Lotus Notes calendar?

Hi Harps,

Prior to performing the enterprise activation you need to ensure you wipe the device (also deleting the BES account would be preferred in your case). The enterprise activation process that was started is normal during a service pack upgrade as your device may have been out of sync. The activation process is essentially a slow sync which is "supposed" to ensure the data is accurate.

Thanks,

Gary
