SNMP values for SRP on BES not updated

Hi all. I need to monitor with SNMP the SRP connection of our Bes Server.
I've followed the guideline for activating SNMP on the BES server.
The problem is that I've tried to simulate a filed SRP connection (I tried it in 2 way: stopping the B. router services and creating a dummt entry on the HOSTS file for blackberry.com).

I've see the SRP connection on blackberry manager was "disconneced". The event viewer tell me also it.
But SNMP tell me "SRP connection" was up. And the "SRP last connected date" tell me the date when the BES server was starting up (I've made some test).
I think SNMP table is updatable because in "pending mail" I can see the value changing time by time...

I didn't install a SNMP management tool on BES and i haven't compiled the Blackberry.mib as guideline tells (I think it's not important and not needed for me)

Tnks in advance

Hi,

If you are running BES 4.1 just install SP5 or higher and within the extracted setup files you will see a folder called "BlackBerry Monitoring Service". If you install this application using the attached install guide you can quickly and easily monitor all services and users via SNMP.

Thanks,

Gary
