Environment

• BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 4.0 and later

Problem

Information for the BlackBerry device is not updated in the BlackBerry Handheld Configuration Tool.

Resolution

Complete the following steps to update the BlackBerry device in the BlackBerry Handheld Configuration Tool:

1. To check if you are using BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 and later, click Options from the Home screen of the BlackBerry device and then click About.
2. Activate the BlackBerry device over the wireless network to update the information in the BlackBerry Handheld Configuration Tool. See KB03674 for more information.
