HOW TO CHANGE polling interval in BES 4.1.4.15

Hi all,

I need to change the polling interval in a BES 4.1.4.15 as some users went overseas and we are getting a huge data roaming bill from the carrier. so i need to increase the polling interval in either device or BES.

Please help.

Hi,

You can't change the interval at which BES reconciles data back to the server. The issue with Global Roaming is that different carriers around the work charge differently for data. As an example on some carriers you pay just pay a session fee (when the device connects to their network) and then for the data. Other carriers purposely drop your connection every hour and will charge you every time your device reconnects and then also charge you for all data usage.
