Best Outlook configuration

Hi.

I am hoping to get some guidence on the best setup for Outlook & my Blackberry Pearl. Situation is as follows:
Both my wife and I will have a Blackberry Pearl with data enabled.
We will have 1 Outlook PST file, but separate folders for email.

I guess that tasks, notes, contacts and calander will all sync no problem when we each plug out blackberry into the USB port of the PC. Is that the case.

Re: emails. Assuming Outlook is closed on the desktop, all 'wifes' emails should go to her handheld and likewise with mine. Few questions:
1. Is it possible to use Blackberry to decide whether to keep or delete the email on my ISP's server (eg...might be able to action some email via blackberry and therefore dont need to download to Outlook).
2. How do I capture emails sent from my Blackberry to go to Outlook ?

Is it OK to sync two separate Blackberrys to the 1 PST file using Desktop manager. Are the setting specific to the handheld ?

Sorry for the scattergun approach of questions. Hope this all makes sense.

Many thanks.

You can sync multiple devices with a single Outlook instance but each time a different device is connected it changes the configuration file. This means that you will have to configure the synchronization settings for both devices.

Assuming you haven't already downloaded the email to Outlook you can delete email from the ISP's server. First you need to ensure the settings on your device are correct, to confirm these settings do the following:

1. Open Messages on your device
2. Press the Menu button (left of the trackball) and select options from the list that appears
3. From Options select Email Reconciliation
4. From the options that appear change the Delete On option to Mailbox & handheld.

Please test these setting and post back if you have any issues.

The only way to achieve this on BIS is to create another POP email account with your ISP. As an example call it bbsent@emailaddress.com. Once you have another email address log onto your web BIS account and select Edit next to your email account. From the edit screen add the new email address into to Auto BCC: feild. Once you have this set you just need to add the POP account into Outlook and then create a rule to automatically place all emails from bbsent@ into the Sent Items folder.

Many thanks for informative response. Quick q'n re:"You can sync multiple devices with a single Outlook instance but each time a different device is connected it changes the configuration file. This means that you will have to configure the synchronization settings for both devices."

Does that mean set up config once for each b/berry and going forward each time I sync it know which b/berry is syncing and will use the correct settings?
