Fake Alert!

Hi all;

A fake email alert showing up on device screen but there is nothing in SMS/MMS, Messages, Call logs. How to remove it please give me the instead of wipe.

Hi,

The first thing you need to do is restart the device by removing and then re-inserting the battery. After the restart double check to ensure there are no in the Messages folder. Also ensure the unread email icon isn't actually an icon for another service such as BlackBerry Messenger (i.e. this unread indicator is a smiley face icon).

Another suggestion - check the Saved Messages for unread email/SMS/MMs
Go to Messages -> Save Messages

Sometimes a message is deleted from the "Messages" but if it has been saved - then it will be in here.
