4.1.6 hotspot URL links not clickable?

I've been playing around with Doc Links in Sp6,

I've noticed that the HotSpot URL links appear on the message on Blackberry, but they aren't clickable.

Doc link, Hotspot Links & Named Elements work a treat & are clickable, but not the URLs.

anyway else had this problem?

I saw in the Browser I.T Policy group on the BES that there is a Hotspot option you can enable or disable. I personally haven't had a change to have a play with the new features (except HTML email).

Hiya gary, I also had a play with this on Fri.

Telstra suggested that I upgrade my handset to OS4.5 to support URLs.
This didn't fix it. (I made sure IT policy for hotspot links was enables).

What it looks like is if you prefix the url with Http:// it works fine (on both OS 4.2 & OS4.5), but it doesn't detect that blah! is a URL (it'll display the URL in the message on the device, but it's not clickable).

I've got a job logged with Telstra who'll follow up with RIM today. I'll report back on what they have to say.

RIM have said "as designed"
But "We have put up a feature enhancement to add the functionality where without prefixing 'http' to weblinks would also work on the BlackBerry."

So maybe on the next release :-) thanks again.
