Exclamation Worldmate Live changing Lotus Notes calendar appointments?

Hi all
I'm using Worldmate Live and Domino BES 4.1.3.

It appears that Worldmate Live may be changing the times of appointments that are synched with an itinerary and stripping the time zone information. The Revised by field says it was the Domino server that changed the appointment, so I'm assuming that this is happening during the Worldmate sync

eg an appointment at 2pm AEST is entered in Notes Calendar.
I create an itinerary in Worldmate Live that has the meeting within the itinerary when I synchronise. I check later and the meeting is now at 2PM GMT so 4AM AEST.

Has anybody seen this heppen to them? I set the "I change my time when I travel" setting in the Calendar Sync settings.

I have logged a support ticket with Worldmate, but they're not awake yet as they are US based.

Regards
Ross

Hi,

It would be recommended to upgrade your BES to SP5 or higher as this will update the BlackBerry database with the required DST changes (There is a manual database patch for BES 4.1.4). Also ensure your devices have any required DST patches installed and update WorldMate Live to the latest version.

Thanks,

Response from Worldmate Live

This is what I got from their Technical Support overnight.

A recent adjustment on our servers resolved most Calendar Sync issues similar to the ones you report. However, the fix does not apply to trip items which were created prior to its implementation (about a week ago). Such trip items would have to be corrected manually.

If the problem persists then it would seem that you specific calendar configuration is currently incompatible with the WorldMate Live Calendar Sync feature.
In this case we suggest that you disable Calendar Sync in WorldMate Live under: Settings >> Calendar Sync Settings.

I'm going to set up a sample trip across time zones and see what happens in a few days.
We are also scheduling a BES upgrade soon.
