It's part of the tool kit I have just moved 30 users to a new server with only two to do manually, because of the model of the phones and slow sync.
This is an old post which was prior to the transporter service being available but thank you for your input.

BES transporter? Where can i find it? I have also the same problem. I want to move all 110 users form BES 4.1 to newly configured BES 5 with the same domain.
Is there a way to migrate them all? Im doing one by one. Deleting their account on BES 4.1 and adding it to BES 5. Wiping handheld the Blackberry units and configure, & re-apply enterprise activation. It sucks me. My wife is already waiting in our room. Please advice. thanks!

    BES Transporter

bwelch88, when migrating make sure you do the user migration in small incrementals. let's just say we found out the hardway when we migrated 75 users all at once.

As a guide transfer no more than 15 users at a time.

I just had another question regarding using the Transporter tool.

Should the users be moved to a default IT policy before being moved across to the secondary BES server so as to preven the need for reactivation e.t.c.? What is the best practices to provide a seam less experince for the user if custom IT policies are in place for various users.?

I personally run the Transporter Service from the new BES and leave the Policy selection blank which automatically changes everyone into the default policy.
