Vista & Outlook 2007

Hi

I have been using a BB 8300 with no problems for months with XP Pro and Outlook 2003. Today i upgraded to a new laptop with Vista Business + Outlook 2007 and a BlackBerry 8310.

When trying to activate the new blackberry today on our enterprise server, the activation process keeps stopping at 60%.

I think it has to do with "Email Settings" as that's where it seems to get stuck.

We run BES 4.1 (full version)

any ideas? I have followed the steps on the BTSC site.

When you are activating the device just ensure Outlook is closed on the user’s machine. Also it would be worth ensuring you have installed SP6 if you are running the full version of BES (i.e. not BB Professional). Also what you can do is before you start the activation open the users properties on the BES and turn off wireless sync for Memo (this option is under PIM Sync).
