    Hello Gary,

I've followed every step available on the forums / internet in order to fix the problem we are having with the BAS-AS.exe service. It gets to 350MB and then it restarts again.

We are running Microsoft Exchange 2010 and BESX 5.0.2

It was working before properly but seems like someone pushed a Java script update on the server and everything new seems to be pretty messed up.

    Code:
    (04/25 23:11:07:881):{main} [org.jboss.ha.framework.interfaces.HAPartition.RIM_BES_BAS_HA_3028509_ILSENCRYPTION] [INFO] Number of cluster members: 1

Those are the errors I could see in the BAS-AS log file.

Also IPv6 is disable and I'm pointing on the host file to the local PC IP.

    Ex:

    172.28.41.31 ILSENCRYPTION.ILS.LOCAL

On the post below you will find the Ports open

    Hi,

Did you run any Java updates on the BES? Also can you please stop the BAS services and go into Start > Programs > BlackBerry Enterprise Server > BlackBerry Server Configuration > Select the Administration Service - High Availability tab > Change the HTTPS Service Port to 3443 > Apply the settings > Start the BAS services > Access the BAS URL via the new port (e.g. "https://server.domain.local:3443/webconsole/app").

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Hello Gary,

I tried that even though it was pointing to 3443 and still nothing happened. It kept crashing

    Any other suggestion?

Please follow the kb article below:

"Found incomplete deployments Incomplete Deployment listing" appears in the BBAS-AS logs and the BlackBerry Administration Service continually restarts

Everything looks fine in that directory.

Somehow my 60 GB HDD (C drive where BESX is installed) is now 2 GB away from being full.

Something it's happening here and it doesn't look good at all =(

If you go into "c:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs" you can delete all the log folders except the current day, installer and webserver folder. This should clear up so HD space.

    In the command:

    Get-Mailbox -Server "<messaging_server_name>" | Set-CalendarProcessing -ProcessExternalMeetingMessages $true

Do I replace "<messaging_server_name>" with the FQDN of my Exchange server?

    Thanks,

    Just the server name e.g. Get-Mailbox -Server "exchange01" | Set-CalendarProcessing -ProcessExternalMeetingMessages $true

    Set-Mailbox "BESAdmin" -ThrottlingPolicy BESPolicy

fails because it cannot find the mailbox for BESadmin. I created a new user in EMC and it asked for an Alias and an external SMPT address so I cave it the Alias BESadmin. I cane it the address BESadmin@mydomain.com

When I look t 'mailbox' under Recipient Configuration, BESadmin does not sow. When I try to create a new mailbox for an existing user, BESadmin does not show up, even when I do a search. What have I done wrong and can I fic this? I have already appied the permmissions and done all the steps prior to step 5.

    Thanks fr your help.
