Address Book does not synchronize

Hi All
I am new to this Blackberry stuff.
I have just install Enterprise server for Groupwise(4.1.3).
When I click on sychronise address book I can see the user name login on the PO screen.
But when I try to add a new user I get no matches.
Anyone have any ideas?

or is because I do not have Groupwise Instant Messenger installed?

Mike

The GroupWise client on the BES needs to be 6.5.7. Also this link below covers all the troubleshooting steps you need to cover to ensure your BES is functioning correctly:

You will need to downgrade to 6.5.7 as it is "currently" the only client supported for BES 4.1.3.

Hi All
Down graded to Groupwise 6.5 SP2 revision 7 client.
I now get the error -
The version of GroupWise you are using cannot access this Post Office.

The PO is GW7 SP1.

Hi,

You need to make sure in ConsoleOne against the PO that you have not restricted under the Client Access Settings the client version that can connect.

I suggest you just let all versions inc. 6.5.7 access this.

Cheers,
Dale.

Hi Dale
I have not restricted any client versions as some of my users are still on the 6.5 SP2 client.
When I install the client from down loaded file GW656UP1CE I can log in OK.
I then remove the client and reinstall using the two files GWCMA1.DLL and GWENV1.DLL, down loaded from FGW65SP6API dated 10/07/07.
When I try and log in I get the error -
The procedure entry point svTcpSSL_cleanup could not be located in the dynamic link library GWENV1.DLL.
Mean any thing to you?
Mike

Mike,

You only need to install the client from down loaded file GW656UP1CE not apply any additional DLL files form the API download.

Our setup just uses the v6.5.7 client from GW656UP1CE and has been working now for well over 12 months.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Dale.
