Error assigning device to user

Hi All,

Hope I can get some help with this issue.
We've had BES running fine for the past couple of weeks. However when I add one particular user, and try to assign a device I receive the following error:

"An error occurred while assigning the handheld to the user. The user is not yet known to the BlackBerry agent. It can take several minutes for a newly added user to be fully initialized by the server before they can be provisioned (16)"

I added the user over a couple of days ago and the status is still "Initializing". Have removed and added the user several times without success.

Calling the Optus Premium Support line gave me the link Here, however that just looks like it's for Domino and not Groupwise.

We are running the following software:
Blackberry Manager version 4.1.3.18
Groupwise Client 7.02 (Currently downgrading to 6.5)
Windows Server 2003

Any help is much appreciated!

To confirm you need to have 6.5 SP2 revision 7 (a.k.a 6.5.7) installed on the BES. "Then make sure in ConsoleOne against the PO that you have not restricted under the Client Access Settings the client version that can connect." Also please not that a new update has come out for your server, please refer to the link below: BES 4.1 Service Pack 4 - GroupWise
